The glittering rooftop terrace of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers played host to this landmark celebration, set against the striking backdrop of the Museum of the Future. For two unforgettable evenings, the event served as a testament to the power of fashion, creativity, and cultural excellence, drawing in a constellation of global luminaries.
The festivities commenced on April 22nd with an insightful opening ceremony and panel discussion. A prestigious lineup of honorees graced the stage—including fashion heavyweights Fausto Puglisi, Heart Evangelista, Rami Kadi, Nicolas Mouawad, Hala Al Turk, and Tima Abid—engaging in a dynamic dialogue about the ever-evolving landscape of the fashion and beauty industries across regions and generations. The day culminated in an elegant soiree at Mi Amie, nestled within the Jumeirah Emirates Towers, providing a more intimate setting for industry insiders to connect.
The glamour reached its zenith on April 23rd with a star-studded Red Carpet event, broadcast live across 10 television channels. Hosted by Janeen Mansour, Mayssa Assaf, and Saim Ali, the red carpet was nothing short of a high-fashion spectacle. Marina Ruy Barbosa turned heads in a rare archival Georges Chakra piece, while Yara Bou Monsef dazzled in Antoine El Kareh, and Heart Evangelista stunned in a custom creation by Michael Leyva.
The Awards Ceremony, presented by the captivating digital storyteller Yara Bou Monsef, was a grand tribute to the visionaries shaping the fashion and beauty realms. Dr. Michel Daher, Founder and President of The EMIGALA, opened the evening with a warm address, followed by a mesmerizing musical tribute to Elvis Presley, brought to life by Gilbert Simon and Emirati pianist Ahmed Al Hashemi.
