Milan is humming again. Against a backdrop of Renaissance grandeur and modern cool, Men’s Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 opened with the kind of statement only this city can deliver: a quiet confidence, steeped in legacy, yet entirely focused on the future.
From relaxed tailoring to experimental layers, the runways spoke clearly—menswear is expanding, softening, and finding joy in contrast.

Giorgio Armani led with fluidity and freedom. Soft earth tones draped in linen and silk turned every step into a whisper. Jackets floated rather than structured, hinting at a post-formality era. “The man I design for today moves, travels, lives—he does not posture,” Armani noted from backstage.

Prada turned heads with hyper-minimalism—sharp cuts softened by sheer overlays and translucent knits in icy pastels. It was romantic, intellectual, and a nod to genderless fluidity. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons sent out silhouettes that felt like poetry with an edge.

Fendi injected playful rigor: suits in lemon and pistachio paired with micro-totes and neoprene sandals. Kim Jones continues to modernize Roman cool with an eye on the practical futurist. Meanwhile, Dolce & Gabbana doubled down on Sicilian seduction—lace vests, low-slung trousers, and embroidery that danced in the light. Their unapologetic boldness remains unchanged.

Zegna closed Day 2 with quiet power: longline shirts, suede trenches, and tonal layering that felt almost architectural. Alessandro Sartori’s focus on craft, especially in natural dyes and sustainable textures, reaffirmed Zegna’s role as a curator of modern masculinity.

This season, three themes reigned: soft structure, optimistic color, and cultural layering. Masculinity is no longer a rigid mold. It’s being redrawn with comfort, globalism, and emotional range. Clothes don’t just wear well—they mean well.
And as the week moved from showrooms to palazzos, Milan reminded the world that innovation doesn’t have to shout. Sometimes, it simply walks out, head held high, wrapped in linen, and lets the tailoring speak.
At I Luv Moda, we celebrate fashion that mirrors life’s dualities: old and new, strong and soft, classic and bold. Milan did just that. It showed us that style isn’t about standing out—it’s about standing true.
Next stop: Paris. But Milan? You’ve set the bar—beautifully.
